The band
that I like is “Maná”. This is a Mexican band and was created in 1975 although
in that year they called “Green Hat”. Some years later they change their name to
Maná.
Maná play
rock music, more specifically Latin-rock. I like rock music, but I always
wanted a rock band to sing in Spanish, Maná was the first band I listen to sing
in Spanish for that reason I like them. Also this band is not like other rock
band where the musicians abused of the electric guitar, they’ve known combine all
types of musical instruments, from folkloric instrument to electric guitar and
bass. I could listen to their music all the day
My favorite
song is “Cuando los ángeles lloran” in the unplugged version. I like so much
the lyrics and the harmony of this song, that song have some special for me. Of course, many others songs are very good,
for example: “No ha parado de llover” or “Bendita la Luz”, but my favorite is
about the angels.
